In 1918, Cristobal Galvez immigrated to the United States
from Alhama de Almeria, Spain...

... on July 14, 1919, his wife Maria Gelices Mazo,
his mother-in-law, Maria Mazo Rodriguez,
and his young son Chris joined him.  They settled in
the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York,
eventually operating a boarding house at
15 Saint Mark's Avenue.

In 1921, they had a daughter Mary, followed by
a son Matias (Mac) in 1926.  
In 1929, they had a daughter, Encarna (Nancy),
followed by another Gloria in 1931.

Cristobal died in 1956 in a car accident in Long Island.
His wife died in 1986 at the age of ____.
